What was your inspiration?
I saw a couple of nook bags on etsy.com and decided to try my own. My mom wanted one for her Christmas present to put her nook in! I googled shoulder bags and combined a couple of patterns I found on there. (that is why I do not have a pattern to give with this, becasue I cannot find all of the ones I used)
What are you most proud of?
I love the way the front flap turned out! It has a girly feel to it, and turned into a chic bag any girl would carry their nook in!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When working with a faux leather fabric like this one, be careful with the fabric distorting on the sewing machine. You have to sew it slowly and carefully. This was my first time using this type of fabric, so it was a learning experience for me!
