Materials

I used 1 skein of black Red Heart yarn and 1 skein on blue. for the entire blanket.

What was your inspiration?

I have 5 days left in my pregnancy and I feel like all I do is sit around and wait to go into labor. I've already made several hats for my pending baby boy and decided a bigger project like a blanket would help pass the time.

What are you most proud of?

I can't wait to cover him up in something i made just for him. He's my first baby so I'm even more excited for that as well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't give up and try to judge the materials you have carefully. Too big and you'll run out, and if you're like me, it's not so easy to drive to the store and buy more! Don't be afraid to add a little flare to it like tassels or a unique border to set it apart from any other granny square!
