What materials did you use? rayon batik, Simplicity pattern 3786

What are you most proud of? That I finished it! And I like the binding that I put on, I don't think the facing that the pattern called for would have looked as nice.

I didn't want to piece together a bunch of small pieces cut on the bias for the edging and I lucked out in that this fabric has a fair bit of give in one of the non-bias directions (can't remember off-hand if it was grain or cross-grain). I think it is even more than the bias. So, I was able to put one piece only.

Marilyn it looks great. I agree the binding is nice. Facings would have added to much weight.
