Instructions

There are three 9-patch pieces. Each one is about 7,5 inches square. They were made as wall hanging, but can be used as coasters.
Special attention to sewing the wavy seams.

What was your inspiration?

The logo of Windows XP inspired me to create this squares.
I have added one more row and one more column.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud with creating three blocks with changing shapes from straight lines, across wavy horizontal lines and wavy in both directions.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Sew carefully the wavy seams.

I won't sew them together. I use as wall hanging of for coasters.

Like! Size? Just seeing one block, I'm thinking baby quilt! What if each 9-patch piece was 12"? You would have a 36" baby quilt!

Look at the photoes. I have change the order you see. There are three 9-patch pieces. Each one is about 7,5 inches square. This is made as wall hanging, but can be used as coasters. It would looks good as baby quilt :)
