What materials did you use? 100@ cotton, warm and white batting, machine quilting thread.

I'm checking out your work, too, Barbara, and you sure don't look like a rookie to me! This is an awesome quilt! WOW! Great colors! Stunning detail! and lovely quilting designs throughout! My dad used to make hooked rugs and he said that love was in every knot. I bet there was love in every stitch in this quilt for your friend.

Thank you so much Tree Lady!! I'm still trying to concur free motion but haven't had much time lately to sit down and really work on it. I have watched a few good videos on it though so I hope I get the feel of it soon.

Thanks you so much 4Bird. I still have not conquered the free motion. I took Leah's class but haven't had the time to spend on practicing yet. I'm sure it will come eventually. I see every one around me on craftsy is doing well at it.
