What materials did you use? Cotton Material

What are you most proud of? The fact that I taught myself and managed to take it all the way to the finish, having unpicked it many many times and also to see my grandaughter of 14 years old wrap herself in it. She now takes it to all her sleepovers and boasts that her Nan made it just for her. What a thrill!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Learn patience, there is no hurry in making a quilt, it has to be filled with love, peace and contentment after all whats goes in must come out!

Of course your granddaughter brags about it - it's lovely and way, way nicer than any of my first half dozen quilts. Congratulations on some lovely work. I hope you make many more quilts.

Beautiful quilt! I especially love the narrow border you put around each block. This extra border would look awesome on the Crafty 2012 BOM project. Great idea!! This might just tie my colors together better, as I am using all fabrics from my stash. Thanks, for sharing this wonderful project.
