What materials did you use? I used some beautifully green (several greens) fabric I found in the Cupboard of Dress Lengths

Dear Michelle, thanks so much for your kind comment!! I wore my dress yesterday. Again. I could live in it. I used the bodice of Simplicity Amazing Fit #1652 and scooped out the neck a little lower. I drafted a full circle skirt instead of the gathered shirt as I had 5 metres of material.

Made me smile to see how well this turned out. Yeah!

What a perfect fitting dress -top to bottom! Love how the neckline lays flat -- what a beautiful job!

Wow! Great job! Fits perfectly from top to bottom, especially the skirt drapes perfectly with the fullness of the skirt.

Thanks Nicole, I am so very pleased with the fit. I learned how to do a proper FBA and how to make the waist and rib cage fit at the same time. It is my favourite dress, I had enough material for a full circle skirt!!!
