What was your inspiration?
A fine Lady gave me a tablecloth saying, that the big blue crossstiches were made by her mother (the lady is 73 herself!) and that she cant use it anymore. So I decided to wait for the right moment to fix it into sewing and quilting and thats the result. A modern tablerunner with old crossstiching.
What are you most proud of?
That Im bringing the handwork of a generation of my grandgrandmother into today!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Dont throw away old handcraft!
