What was your inspiration?

I feel like jewelry is widely unrepresented in knitting, and I wanted to try knitting with wire. So, one day, inspiration struck: leaf earrings. Over the next few days, I refined my techniques in working with wire until I felt ready to create these earrings.

What are you most proud of?

The method of attaching the leaf to the earring hook. It wasn't easy, but I managed to find a way.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try a few swatches in wire at first. It's hard to get use to knitting with wire, but after a few rows you should be ready to try this pattern.
