|Here are some details about my project:|
|Yarn Weight||Worsted (10 ply)|
|Style||Traditional, Casual, Whimsical, Classic|
What materials did you use? Martha Stewart Alpaca blend, tapestry needle, crochet hook, scissors, circular needles (sizes 8, 8, and 10), Mary Jane Mucklestone's book of fair isle designs
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Several Craftsy courses helped in completing this sweater. The Perfect Seamless Crazy Lace Sweater gave me the starting point for the bodice and neckline. The Short Rows course helped expand the band button below the waist. The Fair Isle Vest course taught the technique used in the lower portion of the sweater. The Top Down Icelandic Sweater course taught me how to do the steek with a single purl (this yarn wasn't the best candidate for this type of steeking). The button closures used in the Top Down Icelandic Sweater course will be used when I find the ideal buttons for this sweater.
