What a fun quilt! It's filled with spirit. What works with your quilt is the fact that you have an obvious dominant color---blue. The black and blue play strongly together. The orange and golden hues are bright accents. If you were to make this quilt over again, you might consider making your golden-yellow and orange accents narrower---lessening their width. I might add some blue with them innovatively. Accent colors should be playfully visual but not too strong. You want to keep the blue dominant. That being said, I love your quilt and would very happy if it were mine. My suggestion is just something to think about in a future quilt. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you for your comments, and compliments! I had fun with this one. It will be a b-day gift for my son in a couple of days and I hope he will like it as well.
