Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:

Instructions

If all you've knitted in the past is clothing items, you may find this a little challenging. Just do exactly what she tells you to do, and trust her - it will work out! If you get stuck, Gypsycream is wonderfully kind, friendly, and quick to answer emails. Putting the pieces together is the toughest part.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Cute

Materials

JoAnn's Sensations Yarn - Beautiful line, in Brown

What was your inspiration?

My 4yo granddaughter, Lively, loves to be outside enjoying nature.

What are you most proud of?

The cute little nose was intimidating to me. I couldn't figure out how a piece of felt would look like a nose - but it does!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the plunge! Trust Pat's instructions. If you use safety eyes, there are two things that are important to keep in mind: 1) Carefully test your placement before putting the backs on. Once the backs are on -they don't come off!; 2) Don't forget to push stuffing in around the backs of the eyes prior to pushing the backs on. The eyes look much better when you do this.
