What materials did you use? Self cut strips ( doubles) sewn into strata. I use only QUILT SHOP quality fabric because I learned the hard way ... cheap fabric does not hold up. Hobbs 80/20 batting. The pattern was based on the book and DVD by Ricky Tims.

My 4 year old grandson is usually oblivious to my quilting efforts but when I showed him this he said ... OH NONNIE, this is beautiful. I hangs in his bedroom.

I think this is complementary because it uses CYAN and YELLOW to spark the blades. Magenta was also used to add spark to the exploding star. This is an older quilt made about 2009-2010.
