Looks Like you and I like some of the same things...I did the little bitty animals...love them, and am adapting it to a dragon for my grandson...maybe I'll have it done by the time he's ready for it! (He's 8 mos old) tee hee. seriously, I am just starting with lace and want to know how hard this one is. I am working on a sweater(local class work) that has lace at the bottom and a yoke that is lace with decrease on the yolk...bottom up...am almost to the lace on the yolk...do you think this would be too hard for a 2nd lace project? Have any to recommend? I live in denver too...

I think this is an excellent 2nd lace piece. Laura is a wonderful teacher. I would recommend using both life lines & stitch markers. There is one spot where you have to move the marker which was a bit confusing but I knew it was coming up from the class comments. Where is your local LYS?
