What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be careful with the single crochet edging in the main color. I was a bit over zealous with mine so my contrast color edging ended up with so many stitches it looks more like a ruffle. And a normal row of buttons no longer worked so I improvised with a simple clear button closure and removable flower.
