Tree Skirt Panels, with polyester gold for a ruffle and navy blue cotton fabric for the lining.
What was your inspiration?
When I saw this tree skirt panel I thought it was really elegant. The pictures in gold gave me the inspiration for a gold ruffle. Since we we into the Christmas Season at the time, I was able to find the polyester gold fabric that was used as the ruffle and it worked perfectly.
What are you most proud of?
It came together just as I had imagined, and that doesn't always happen. In this instance, it did. Hooray.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just use your own instincts and go for it.
