cotton blend of some sort with some serious texture & a bit of shine. it was cheap! and i dig the texture. invisible zipper, color of your choice with matching bias tape for the waist band.
What are you most proud of?
i have yet to purchase an invisible zipper foot. i started this skirt on 12.24.11 around 5ish. came to inserting the zipper & remembered (!) that i don't have one. i decided to continue on using the reg zipper foot that came with my machine. it all worked out i will be doing this skirt again since i have a lot of the same fabric & opted out of doing a mockup originally AND i will remember to have purchased the proper invisible zipper foot.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
make sure you have all of the necessary tools before you start;)
