Moda Deb Strain's Nature's Gift with Holidays theme and cardinals etc, Used 1 charm pack and extra strips for sashing and binding from my stash

What was your inspiration?

Loved the print and also bought the panel to make the wall hanging to match....almost finished! Stay tuned for photos of that too, soon!

What are you most proud of?

Finally finishing it - have been made full time at work from part time and I am not happy! Not enough time for my quilting and sewing!!!! 22 Projects waiting for me :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Very easy for everyone to do especially a beginner. Just make up your four square blocks, sash them and border then bind - I used polyester for the batting so it will wash and dry quickly... Quilted it with an in the ditch stitch around the outside and around the sashing and then cross hatched it with different colored threads in the middle. Did not sew over the sashing to give it a unique finish.
