What materials did you use? Cotton lycra blend fabric. Wooden buttons.

What are you most proud of? I have all of the patterns matched. There's a pocket on the left front, but you can't even see it because the patterns of the print are so perfectly matched.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take Pam's class!! She's a great teacher. I learned a lot about the shirt making techniques.

Lovely fabric and everything is beautifully matched at the front along the buttonhole band

Thank you! My husband loves it and has already worn it three times!

What pattern did you use for this? My hubby is a big boy and I'm having trouble finding a pattern that fits well. I'm thinking I might have to draft my own.....

Robin: So sorry to take so long to respond. I didn't see your question until today. I used Kwik Sew 3422. I used David Page Coffin's method of getting a perfectly fitting yoke (in a muslin) and then draping the rest of it to get the fit correct. Kwik Sew patterns are great because they have all the sizes in one envelope.

Thank you, Cally: My husband loves this shirt. He's very proud of it and really enjoys telling people that I made it for him.
