This is my first stab at a Modern Quilt. Angela Walters' Quilting Negative Spaces opened up a lot of fun for me with my long arm quilting machine. I learned to turn off the stitch regulator and become one with my machine as I free-handed all that quilting in a huge variety of stitching patterns... WITHOUT marking most of it ahead of time! Nathaniel is my 6 year old Grandson and this will be his quilt... right after I take it for Show and Tell at my local Quilt Guild meeting.
