Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Caught her kissing the baby, had a camera in my hand....used artist grade oils, added some reddish pinkish tones to the background to go with the portrait. Pink tones for the baby, Cadm red med, yellow ochre & white for skin tones. Ultramarine blue and raw umber, burnt umber for shadows.

Sometimes an unposed picture can get the best results. This baby was born Dec. 13, 2013. I was fortunate to have the camera in my hand.

I had a difficult time, but enjoy having it. It was from a do it yourself photo booth picture. 1936 Norman, Oklahoma
