What was your inspiration?
Nadja was our au pair 10 years ago and she is getting married in the Netherlands in September. When she lived with us for a year, she loved making crafts and some little outfits for my youngest at the time who was a baby. So I wanted to "make' her something special to last for years and our memories of our time with her will last for years.
What are you most proud of?
first big quilt - queen size.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I sent to MSQ to do the top quilting (or machine quilting) and my sewing machine span is just too small. Love how it turned out. MSQ did a fabulous job and really made a difference.
