What was your inspiration?

Every snowflake is unique and they glisten like magic.

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud that I got all six sides pretty much the same, which is not easy when cutting such tiny pieces of glass.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you have enough of each colour of glass, as you will most likely be re-cutting some of the elements so that each is the same as its counterpart. Use a nice sharp cutting wheel and don't rush. You need six identical pieces of glass for each element of the design, as any variation in the glass pieces will result in non-uniform sides to the final snowflake, as seen in Variation #4.
