What was your inspiration?
Many of the things I love and like in life (there are many more of course I did not include). I made this project for a short mental health course as part of some professional training and for my own interest - it is called WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan). The pockets contain index cards with important information, lists, ideas, and lovely little notes that my husband has given me. The pages titled "my little garden" has bits of jewlery given to me by friends and family over the years. I did not make a pattern of it - the best way to discribe it, is that it evolved. It was a great deal of fun to make and it has proven to be very useful and up lifting when I need that :) There are more pages, but I think I have uploaded the more interesting of the bunch.
What are you most proud of?
The front and back covers. I love dragon flies and I love the colours I found to make them with. I also really like the designs that I created. When I did this project I had not quilted in some years, so it was a great way to kick start my love of it again.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make a list of what you love - colours, places, textures, people, ideas, ect - start from there.
