What was your inspiration?

I've been crocheting since I was very young, so when it came time to plan my wedding, I decided I should crochet part of my wedding dress. I love the looks of the regency era with the short capped sleeves and empire waistlines. I couldn't find any wedding dresses that I liked, so I modified this pineapple vest pattern to have short capped sleeves and a higher, draw-string neckline. I also lengthened the vest to fall below my hips.

I love love this!! Did you make the bridesmaids' wraps too? I would love to find the pattern for those as well.

How exquisite! I can't quite see past the bouquet - was it tied at the neck, or is there a button?

I put a small white satin covered button at the neckline. The satin ribbon threaded through the neckline, but there was no tie.
