What materials did you use? I used a combination of home dec fabric from Wal-Mart and JoAnns and quilting cottons. Not sure of the lines or designers. They were fabrics from my stash.

What are you most proud of? I made three bags for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. They were perfect. The carry on bags fit in the over head and under the seat. The large bag worked great for all my stuff. They were very easy to make. The directions were awesome. I would buy patterns from this designer again.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I think even a beginner could make these bags. I did serge all the inside seams. That worked great.

Fantastic bag! Very well done. I am so glad the bags worked for you on your trip. Thanks for the kind words as well. I appreciate your posting here for all to admire.

I used black webbing and then centered the fabric on top. I left about a half inch reveal on each side.
