What are you most proud of? Pockets everywhere!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try anything! What's the worst that can happen? You might have very fancy scrub rags.

Your purse is spectacular. I hope to make a purse also, but I will have to start with simpler construction. Your detail is wonderful and -- and won't you say you have worked with a background that is a bit vibrant and made a gem of it..

I love this!! I said I wanted to make a spectacular fabric for a purse! I don't think I can compete with yours though!

Sure you can. It will be you own version of fabulous, but just as much yours.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. After using the purse a while, I've concluded a few things will need altering. The big one is that the strap is too soft, and tends to roll a lot. I'll have to figure out what is just enough stiffening without making it too belt-like. I will probably also add a button closure over the outside pockets so my ipod and phone won't slip out when I toss this into the car etc. Likely this will be more rat-tail over the opening.
