My Stupendous Stitching

My first one

My first one

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Stupendous Stitching: Adventures in Surface Design »

Instructions

I love this course and my project. I'm going to do another one right away!

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Mod

Materials

Fibers, ribbons, batik, fusible web, fusible fleece, rat tail binding, specialty threads

What was your inspiration?

I first saw Carol's techniques on The Quilt Show. Had to do a class after that!

What are you most proud of?

The end result and using some threads and fibers I have collected but not used much previously.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just jump right in and let yourself have FUN!

It looks awesome. I watched The Quilt Show too and then signed up for the class. Have my materials and am watching the class but haven't started yet. I am slow out of the gate.

Thank you for the inspiration! I'm ready to make another one! This time I'm going to chain stitch on the serger with heavy threads and then couch them onto the piece~
