Learn It
This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Stupendous Stitching: Adventures in Surface Design »
Instructions
I have been so inspired by Carol Ann Waugh and many other Craftsy instructors.... and doing this book is helping me learn how my machine works and what I'm able to do with it. Mostly machine done but some hand sewing. Embellished with PMC (Precious Metal Clay) I'll post more pages as I complete them if interested.Difficulty:
Category: Sewing
Type of item: Functional
For: Women
Style: Funky
Materials
Cotton fabrics and many different types of thread and yarns. This is the cover of my "Stitch Bible"
What was your inspiration?
Stupendous Stitching!
I've also taken Carol Ann's class Stitch and Slash and page 8 (not completely finished yet) is in that style.
Page Page 4 is a wonky log cabin, inspired by several Craftsy classes.
What are you most proud of?
That I'm exploring, and accomplishing at the same time!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just do it! Have fun! Watch the classes as many times as you need. I have my ipad on my sewing table and refer to different parts of the class as needed.
