What advice would you give someone starting this project?
There are lots of mistakes in this! I had to learn to let them go, fix the stitch count, and move on. I spent so much time reworking, ripping back, reworking -if I hadn't decided to just keep on trucking I would never have gotten done. Turns out it worked just fine! It looks nice unless you really look for the mistakes. I'm sure my second try at lace will be more accurate, but I really needed to FINISH this one to feel good about this new skill.
