Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Traditional

Materials

yardage, applique, walking foot, free motion quilting foot

What was your inspiration?

My sister wanted a full sized bed quilt celebrating our Irish heritage so this is what I came up with. It is my largest quilt to date and the most ambitious free motion that I have done. I used feathers, a shamrock border, celtic knots and stitched the words "Erin go Bragh" into the border of the center medallion.

What are you most proud of?

That my sister loves it so

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just enjoy yourself

This is amazing!! Do you have a pattern for this quilt that you are willing to sell? I would love to do something like this for my daughter and future son-in-law.
