Materials
Many ground covers, old milk can and Banner from the City. The City of Richmond B.C. sells the beautiful banners that adorn our streets annually after they are replaced. I also have a large collection of River rocks placed throughout collected from every river we visit which brings happy memories to us.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted a peaceful location at the side of my home to relax without high maintenance.
What are you most proud of?
This is my view as sit at my computer. I can watch the birds in the bath, the squirrels running along the fench and the plants swaying in the breeze. My neighbors love to look out their window into my garden and thank me annually
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Expect a couple of seasons for the ground covers to take hold but trim the cover back to keep the stepping stones and decorative rocks clear and visable
