What materials did you use? Cotton fabrics. Lining coated with Lamifix to make it waterproof.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would reverse the D-ring and lobster clip fastening, if I made it again. The lobster clip is too small to fit over hooks found in hotel bathrooms but the D-ring would fit. As it is, it is the wrong way work as a hanging bag. I was not able to get handbag zips in the UK and had to use zips with thin fabric for the tape, They had width but not stiffness and I think this made them more difficult to use.

Love the waterproof lining tip and the hanging D ring tip also. Thanks!

Very Nice Job

Great bag! It looks like you quilted right through the laminated fabric. Did that work OK? Would you do it again that way or do you have another idea? Thanks for any input. I want to use a laminated lining too.

No, I laminated it after I had quilted because otherwise moisture could still get through the holes. I used Lamifix to laminate a cotton fabric rather then using a pre-laminated fabric. That way I was able to have the quilting visible on the inside and not have a loose layer.

Love your quilting and fabric. I was thinking of laminating the fabric too so this has been great to see you've done it. Enjoy using your bay
