Materials

Mostly fabric from my stash but I've bought a few lengths specifically for the back ground.

What was your inspiration?

I really enjoyed making the January blocks from the Canteen bandannas (see my other project) and so decided I'd make two quilts: one to donate to the Canteen charity, the other for me.

This way I can practise with, and sort out any problems with "my" quilt to ensure the other is as perfect as I can make it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be accurate: not so much for the January blocks as they are trimmed to 12.5" but the February blocks are very much to size and mine needed no trimming at all.
