What materials did you use? A 100% cotton printed fabric and vintage buttons

What are you most proud of? The understitching on the collar. And that I did not give up the process with the pattern adjustments.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a muslin! This class do not include fitting issues. In the class with Susan Kahlje and in Gerties Bombshell dress you got a lot of advice how to make a muslin. In Gerties class you also learn all about how to print and put a PDF-pattern together. I think it was difficult to make this blouse fit to my body. I almost gave up during the process. Finally I did some important changes: I made A Full Bust adjustment (good advice in the class material) and I changed the darts at the waist both back and front. Christine was a a nice teacher and have a lot of smart tips on how to sew all details and answers questions fast and friendly. So follow her lessons step by step .

Thank You so much, Alexia. Are you making the sassy librarian blouse?

Yes, I am almost finished--just the buttons left to do. I love the three-button grouping you used and am thinking of using it on mine, as well--I hope you don't mind the copy-catting! The fabric I used is a Kona Bay cotton print of cats!

Thank you alexia! I think there is some copys of grouping my buttons already so feel free to do the Copy-cat at your cat print! That copy-cat thing will be an extra hidden dimension on your blouse. I think it is Fun! Please post photos!

beautiful! I'm having fitting problems and yours looks like it will be a good for me. I will look into a full bust adjustment to make it more "a line." I've been working on my shirt for weeks.

Thank you Salm91 I worked a lot with my muslin for the blouse to make it fit. The pattern is like a bag over the bust in a strange way I used a smaller size to reduce some of "the baginess" and a full bust adjustment on that smaller size. Hope you have success! Post photos to let us see how it came out
