What materials did you use? Quilter's Dream request loft batting, Molly Poly gold thread.

What are you most proud of? I think it looks good....

What advice would you give someone starting this project? For custom quilting using templates take it slow and let the quilt tell you what it needs.

Nice quilting. I love the way all the different motifs come together.

Since I am starting a quilting business and this quilt will travel to area shows along with others in the challenge, I wanted to show a variety of quilting designs. The six solid squares formed by the on point quilting seemed like a good place to add the variety. I decided to alternate very structured, template guided designs(clamshell, baptist fans, and curved crosshatch) with freehand designers I might use edge to edge on a quilt.

I LOVE this piece! You put a lot of thought into your work, and it really shows. I love how you took a very simple top and totally dressed it up using nothing but thread and imagination. Bravo!
