What materials did you use? Used 100% cotton for all lining, exterior and trim of purse

I did not use the pattern provided for the purse, but did use Tara's techniques (her instructions were clear and easy to follow). I used a diamond pattern for the quilting. Really enjoyed the class and will make more "quilted bags" using this course as a guide. Thanks, Tara

Thanks Tara, the class was so much fun and informative. The zippered pocket was so easy using your method - it surprised me! Great class! Hope you do another, Angie

Love your fabrics! What a great bag! Did you use a pattern for this? And if so which one? This could possibly make a really great diaper bag if enlarged... I love the shape of it! I too, loved Tara's class going to make a 2nd t.t. this time for my mom :)

Thanks so much Meredith. I did not use a pattern; just copied the outline of a bag I already had. I wanted to learn how to put a bag together. The fabric was left overs from other projects (which is why I ran out of the green for trim - but think the yellow pops it a bit too). Love the idea of a diaper bag if enlarged! I'm sure your mom will enjoy her bag - have fun! Angie

How fun, the way you created this one! Didn't even notice the yellow wasn't intentional - I love it the way it is! Thanks for the quick response & happy sewing! :)
