What advice would you give someone starting this project? Stick with it and you will learn to machine quilt. on

Neat color combination - not one I've seen done before. Red is so hard to photograph, but what I can see, I really like. My first sample for this class was red but I had to remake it because they couldn't film with a red sample! Good job!

Speaking of photographing the color red. Remembering this comment by Ann,... today when I was photographing auditions of a kaleidoscope Lemoyne Star (using hinged mirrors) I had the same trouble (deep blueish red was coming out like orange-ish red). Then I was thrilled to discover that my iPhone has a nice little function in the camera app, that brought up about 9 different variations of the photo, and let me pick the most "true to life" red version! I don't think my nice camera has this, at least not as simple to use. HTH :-)
