Cake Decorating: my new hydrangea
13 kudoz

my new hydrangea

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Handcrafted Sugar Flowers »

Instructions

I made a few smaller flowers using Jaqueline's technique, but the rest I made with individually wired petals and I quite like the look. Takes a long time to make, but the flowers are actually bigger so you don't need as many to make a bunch. This is suitable for the type of hydrangea that has big flowers, the smaller flowered ones are better with Jaquelien's technique.

Category: Cake Decorating

Type of item: Food

gumpaste, dusts, 28 gauge wire
