Liberty Lawn Cotton, underlined with muslin (bodice) and silk organza (skirt), spiral steel boning, seam binding, grosgrain ribbon for the waist stay and zipper guard.
What was your inspiration?
I loved the look of this dress, and when I saw the liberty print I thought it would look stunning!
What are you most proud of?
I learnt sooo many new techniques completing this dress, so I think I'm proud of everything! I think I'm particularly proud of fitting it to fit my bust, this took a few attempts but now I really understand it! I've put up how I did it on my blog www.sleeksilhouette.com.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Persevere if you are struggling with the fit of the cups, as it so worth it as the dress is stunning when it's finished!
