What materials did you use? I am using wool boucle with a contrast satin lining.

What are you most proud of? The jacket does feel like a cardigan to wear! Love it! The sleeves are a disappointment - three piece sleeves that I struggled to steam smaller to fit the sleeve head

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it - this class is fantastic & will get you through all the steps

Since finishing the jacket, I have removed the sleeves as they were just too big, especially at the sleeve head. I made new sleeves, following info from Pam Howard's Jacket Fitting Class and also took the jacket in at the sides before inserting the new sleeves. Looks & fits so much better now

I'm impressed that you followed your instinct and redid the sleeves and side seams. That's a lot of work, but in the end, you got the fit you wanted! I'm just starting my jacket, but your experience reassures me that it's never too late to make changes to get what you want.

Thanks Isabellagar. I knew I wouldn't wear it as it was so it was time well spent. I look forward to seeing yours!
