York paving slabs and fit husband!
What was your inspiration?
After having the greenhouse built, I needed something out the front. There is a stone wall running behind so I ordered the slabs to curve around that.
What are you most proud of?
Well, it's not finished yet, but I love all of it and just had to share. The garden furniture was all recycled from the local tip, resprayed and I love it. The bottom fell out of one of the chairs, so I stuck a tub in it and it is now a garden feature. I'm promised new garden furniture, but I actually like the old stuff.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
My slabs laid in parcels at the front door for 2 years before they were laid, so maybe hire someone, don't wait for your husband to do it! Still not finished actually!
