What are you most proud of? I was so scared of ruining the block all the work I've put into piecing it, but I am thrilled that I was able to have the courage to FMQ and now I don't think I will stitch in the ditch with a straight foot again.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? practice, and go for it!

Did you mark your designs prior to quilting or did you just design as you quilted? Looks great either way but just wondered. I love to free hand but it doesn't look this great..

Virginia, I marked the corners like Leah suggested and tried to meet up with them best I could. This is my very first attempt at FMQ and I am tickled pink that it turned out as well as it did. I still have to work on scale. Thank you for your sweet encouraging comments.

I'm glad that you did not let your fear stop you because I love how beautiful and whimsical it looks!

was able to get back into the class and tackle the third block. With the contrast color on the back of this quilt it really shows my inexperience but I'm proud of it so far and look forward to learn more with the next blocks.
