What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? I love the intimacy and mystical qualities I can achieve using macro photography of flowers. Photographing flowers in this way is always exciting and opens a new world of creative possibilities and a heightened awareness of the world around me. I love it!

Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? I bought a Canon 5d Mark 3 with a 100mm Macro lens and speedlight 580EXII on-camera flash about a year ago and have only recently started learning how to use it properly. After a few online lessons and this course I am now starting to feel more confident and excited about my photography adventures!

I just added a few more photos to show a total of 6 for my first project. I'm still not quite getting sharp enough images at a very close range probably because I can't keep still enough. I need to invest in a tripod and other macro lens accessories.

Love the pink and purple shot.

Hello I've been absent from this course for a while but have recently taken some time to get back to some flower photography. I'm learning more techniques on my Canon 5D and can now produce some lovely effects with the macro lens.
