My First Tea Towels

Instructions

I used a 7.5dent heddle (rather than the 8 called for)

7.5dpi heddle, warp width 16”, total ends 120, warp length 2.5 yards (2 towels and a left-over washcloth)

Warp: 20 white, 10 blue, 6w, 4b, 40w, 4b, 6w, 10b, 20w

weft: 20w, 10b, 6w, 4b, 40w, 4b, 40w, 4b, 6w, 10b, 20w

hemstitching

I cannot wait to warp that loom. This is a great project and fairly quick and easy. I have a Harp, also and love it. Thanks for this good project.

oh yea where is a good place to obtain one, year ago(30) I used to make rugs on a loom, using old jeans that were cut n2 strips

The Rigid Heddle Weaving class here made this a breeze. This was only my third weaving project ever!

The only challenging part is getting the warp onto the loom :) Once you get used to that part, projects like this are pretty easy!
