What materials did you use? A machine washable wool blend double knit weight, and size 4mm needles, so the piece is about 14" square

What are you most proud of? That I've made a square square, having read through some of the other posts, and also that after many many, years of knitting, I've finally tried slip stitch patterns!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Strand loosely across the back so your work won't pucker, and make sure you pick up twelve stitches per log end. This will help you end up with a square!

Thank you! Will have to make one to match the other one, which will be a challenge as he's black!

Thank you! Because I'm using double knit yarn and thus my squares are smaller, I'm going to make a 3 by 5 square afghan. So mixing up my smaller colour palette is interesting!
