Caron Simply Soft in "Ocean" (about 1.5 sk) and an "I" hook

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The Lion Brand picture doesn't do the pattern justice. And it looks sooo different in different yarns and hooks. The pattern has a CHART as well as worded directions (I love charts). Go for it!!!
