What are you most proud of? I have never made socks before, so I'm most proud that I stuck with this class even without a pattern and figured out a pair of original socks for myself. In the beginning I became very frustrated and considered giving it up because I became convinced this class was just beyond my skill level. But I'm sticking with it and, with Donna's help, figuring it out as I go along. Now I have even done Kitchener stitch and it's not nearly as difficult as I imagined.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient with yourself and above all, watch ahead in the videos. You'll feel much more comfortable if you watch the course once through before beginning your project.

Well, it's actually "my first sock" at the moment, as I haven't yet done the second one. Pretty proud of the first though, considering it's my first time! It does have giant holes on the sides of the heel where I picked up stitches for the afterthought heel, even though I picked up the little bar between the needles and knitted that too. Guess I'll just have to sew them up. Sigh.

My second one went MUCH faster - go for it!

Thanks - I am now up to the leg part on the second sock. I definitely have "second sock syndrome though", lol. I have other projects that I'd usually rather pick up so I'm working through these slowly.
