What was your inspiration?
I have always wanted to have a red skirt.
What are you most proud of?
That I finished it! and that it looks awesome! I was a little nervous about the alterations part, but found that that was more fun than I had anticipated. I word the skirt with a black top/kind of a romantic Spanish style and it was amazing. Finally, a length that I like and a nice fit. I am really happy with the skirt, and feel confident that I could do another one. I'm looking forward to making more skirts!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and use a fabric and color that you love (at least eventually make it in a fabric and color that you love)
