What was your inspiration?
One of my childhood friends is having her first baby and I wanted to do something special for her.
What are you most proud of?
I was most proud of my binding; it turned out great! My friend said thay it was her favorite gift and that meant a lot.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I found Machine Quilting the top to be difficult, due to the weight of the project. The weight was effecting my walking foot and some of my stitching is not perfectly even. I am a perfectionist and I had to keep reminding myself that handmade items do not always look perfect and that the flaws add to the charm.
